Terms of service

Last updated 9 October 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Master the Trick (“MTT”, “we”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give accurate details, including your name, which appears on certificates. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

3. Buying courses

  • Prices are in Ghana cedis and paid by mobile money through our payment provider, SeevPlus.
  • Access starts once the payment is confirmed and does not expire while MTT operates.
  • Access is personal. Do not share your account, download, record or redistribute lessons.
  • Refunds follow our refund policy.

4. Certificates

When you complete every lesson of a paid course you receive a certificate with a public verification page. A certificate shows that you completed the course; it is not an academic or professional accreditation. Certificates for refunded purchases are cancelled.

5. The community

Community membership is a one-time payment for lifetime access to the members’ area. Be respectful. Do not post spam, scams, illegal content, other people’s personal information or material you do not have the right to share. We may remove posts and, for serious or repeated breaches, end membership without refund.

6. Selling courses as a member

  • You can create courses and submit them for review. We decide whether to publish a course and may unpublish it later.
  • You must own, or have permission to use, everything in your course. You are responsible for its accuracy and must not include anything unlawful or misleading.
  • For each sale, MTT keeps a commission (shown when you set your price, currently 30%) and you earn the rest. Earnings are paid to the mobile money wallet in your teaching studio. Payouts are made by MTT and recorded in your studio.
  • If a buyer is refunded under the refund policy, your earnings from that sale are reversed; if already paid out, the amount is deducted from your next payout.
  • You keep ownership of your course. You give MTT a licence to host, show and sell it to learners, and buyers keep access to courses they bought even if you later unpublish them.
  • Commission rates may change; a change applies only to sales made after it.

7. Our content

Course materials belong to MTT or the instructor who made them. Free courses listed on MTT are provided by their original publishers and remain theirs.

8. Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but provide it “as is”. We do not guarantee a job or any particular result from a course.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions? Use the contact form.
