What we collect
- Account: your name, email, optional phone number, and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares.
- Learning: the courses you buy, the lessons you complete, quiz scores kept in your browser, and certificates issued to you.
- Payments: what you bought, the amount, and the payment reference. Your mobile money PIN and wallet details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
- Community: the posts and replies you write, shown to other members under your name.
- Selling courses: the courses and videos you upload, your sales, and the mobile money number you give us for payouts.
- Messages you send through the contact form.
Why we use it
To run your account, give you access to what you paid for, issue and verify certificates, pay instructors, answer your messages and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
What is public
A certificate page shows your name, the course and the date to anyone who has its ID, so employers can check it. Community posts are visible to other members only.
Who processes it for us
- Google Firebase: sign-in, database and video storage.
- SeevPlus: mobile money payments.
- Vercel: hosting the website.
- YouTube and Vimeo: some lesson videos and the free courses are embedded from them, and they apply their own policies when you play them.
Cookies and browser storage
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Progress on the free courses is kept in your browser’s storage. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Payment records we must keep for accounting are retained even after an account is deleted. Use the contact form to make a request.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above.
